Yes, casual attire is fine, however, it's always fun to dress up to go out in NOLA
For two you are good, but big group book ahead
I don't know either. You may need to call them and ask.
Always good parking on the river side of gov Nicholas
No but so worth going there. Amazing
No reservations but they use a waiting list as people come and are very effective in getting people seated. Its worth the wait!!!
Fantastic food & atmosphere - highly recommended.
Host make you wait outside until ready even though they have tables available after that is a must try. Good food, cozy environment, good dessert. Not parking lot structure.clean bathroom.friendly food servers
The little Italian restaurant is great! The owner has a unique friendly smiling face that mimic the smile of Mona Lisa. Service is great. Server is conversation starter who can share art history of Italy from 14-18 centuries! Prepare to wait for 30-45 minutes during weekend dinner.
I love this pizza RESTAURANT! Excellent food, great customer service. The atmosphere is warm, funky and inviting. Get here early so you won't miss out. They're only open for dinner!
Great neighborhood restaurants. Busy and only opened 5 to 10 PM. Food was good and we got 3 different dishes. Everyone liked their dishes. Priced reasonably.
Stumbled across this place which is tucked away from main tourist streets. So pleased we found it! Food superb , service excellent and great ambiance. Would definitely visit again if ever back in NOLA.
Excellent food and service, cozy atmosphere.one of NOLA Best restaurants ❤️👍👍
Really good pasta! If you're in NOLA you should definitely check this place out.
Pizza was perfect eggplant delicious and peeps r so good luv this place we b back tomorrow thx tom farrow
Great food, reasonably priced, in a cool little neighborhood restaurant.
Great cute little Italian Restaurant. Food was amazing. I went with 4 of my girlfriends and we all ordered something different. Everyone loved their food. I had the Mardi Gras pasta and it was delicious.
Incredible atmosphere. We were greeted right as we walked in the door by the host and seated promptly. Our waitress was extremely kind and let us get salads with our pizza. The salad came with a cheese stick that was huge! It was delicious. Our pizza was the best pizza I’ve had in a long long time. Definitely wish there were more stars!
good value, okay food. very nice waitress
Good food but the time it takes is slow.I recommend the calzone it's the cheaper ones and is pretty big.
Good Italian food, good prices , pizza is the best
The owners here care about their staff and peoples safety. Excellent
A bit of a hidden gem. The food was excellent, linguine cooked perfectly. The wine selection was obviously put together by someone who knows wine but was very fairly priced. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance and is located at the quieter end of Royal. Highly recommended.
This was lovely find, a gorgeous little restaurant serving wholesome Italian food in intimate surrounds. We ate bruschetta to start followed by lasagne - vegetarian for me and meat for him. These were served with a fresh green salad. The portions were generous and the flavours great. There is also a good selection of reasonably priced wine. This place is definitely worth the wait for a table.
Great COVID-19 experience, wish I had the opportunity to come.
Absolutely love this place! They have the most amazing food and servers. It took me almost a year to discover Mona Lisa, now I eat there at least once a week. Try their baked ziti, pizza, bruschetta, veal and cannoli... its all addictive and Jersey Girl Approved!!!
What a wonderful dining experience . Had the real and chicken meals with wine. Host and servers are super kind and food was outstanding. Priced right. Enjoy.
I think this place is opened by one family. People who work there look like a family. It's a nice place to eat at. Food is good. The place is a bit small. There are many strange drawings for Mona Liza!
Really good, basic Italian classics. They don't take reservations so the wait can be long. But the service, ambience and food are worth the wait.
Very unique. Had a 20 minute wait but walked down to lantern. The host called us when our table was ready. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
Everyday I would pass this place. The smell of garlic & butter would fill the air. I haven’t been able to sit down & eat there ...yet. But I did order take out. Let me tell you this LASAGNA IS TO DIE FOR! It’s so hard finding lasagna that actually tastes like a lasagna. Very filling. Needless to say this is my favorite restaurant & I will be returning customer.
Cute and cozy spot. Good pizza. Great place to relax and split a bottle of wine
Owner is rude and abusive to customers. Do NOT recommend!
Great service great food awesome place away from the craziness
Quirky Italian restaurant in the French Quarter. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at in New Orleans. We eat here at least once on every trip. Been eating here for 20 plus years. The food is always good. Everything Italian from great pasta dishes, delicious pizzas and great sandwiches. They make the bread for the sandwiches. I love the meatball sub and the Mona Lisa special sub or pizza is excellent. Do not let the small size or quirky decor fool you. Great food and worth the wait if busy.
This is a cute, quaint place with great food and great wine! The pasta and cheesy bread were delicious.
Quaint little place with amazing Italian food! We got the spinach and artichoke dip, spinach lasagna (huge portion!) and shrimp scampi..all authentic and all very flavorful! Highly recommend!
Had the best shrimp scampi of my life here! My friend ordered the veal piccata and was similarly wowed. Warm, inviting, and cleverly kitschy interior too. Wish I could be a regular!
I know, why go to NOLA and then eat Italian food? Because it's so good. Best calzone I've had outside of the New York area. Mona Lisa's never disappoints. Great friendly service. I stop here every trip to the Crescent City
Every visit is better than the last! The food is consistently delicious and staff on point! Do yourself a favor and check out this place.
Absolutely loved it...I haven't been there in about 20 years and now I can't figure out why I stayed away
Fantastic food. Very impressed. I've had worse Italian food for double the price. You cannot beat the value of this place. I had the Veal Parm and my girlfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were amazing. Do yourself a favour and order the bruschetta as an appetizer. I've never had bruschetta like this. The decor is very down to earth. You get fine dining food and a very casual restuarant. If you're a chocolate lover you need to try the chocolate cake for dessert. Would definitely recommend a visit to Mona Lisa for great Italian food for a great price.
This lovely place has been here forever! It has ALWAYS been the epitome of greatness and exclusivity! The waitress, Raven, is the best! The chicken alfredo and pineapple pepperoni pizza was the best! I loooooove looking out the window and eating as walkers pass by and see how beautiful the place is. The ultimate #lgbt friendly place in the world! #pride2020
Nice place. Loved the menus and the Mona Lisa pictures
So glad we heard about this place during our Tour in the French Quarters! The food was absolutely delish!!! There was a 30 minute wait as there's limited seating but definitely well worth it 👌 This establishment offers a casual dining experience with a little romance by adding the candle lights to each table. Our waitress Raven was very friendly, sweet and attentive. Just in case you're wondering we ordered the Garlic Bread appetizer, Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine w/ peas, Shrimp Scampi and a Meat ball sub... All was fulfilling to the taste and good portion size.
This a very quaint restaurant on royal street. It has great food for a reasonable price. It has a loyal resident following. It's worth a visit for their unique style of italian food.
Try their lasagna. It’s delicious.
Great food and perfect service. Must visit for great Italian food when visiting NOLA and looking for something near but away from Bourbon street.
On here it says it's open today til 10 pm, but we drove by and it's closed. Waste of an Uber trip.
Food was great. Wine was great. Looking at Mona Lisa was awesome.
They have really nice and friendly people working there. But I have had better pizza and Italian food.
The hour wait was totally worth it! This little place makes delicious dishes at affordable prices. Also I loved all the art!!
Cozy place in the middle of the Quarter with lots of character. Really personable host and waitstaff. We had the garlic bread, baked ziti and chicken parm and they did not disappoint! Will be returning.
Service was great, food not so much. Sauce tasted like it came from a jar- bland and runny. Chicken and veal were thick and flavorless.
The pizza was soooo delicious
This was one of few choices we had as a member of our party was allergic to seafood and we decided against entering the seafood establishments. With a large party, they were unable to seat us. As the dining rooms are small and simply didn’t accommodate large parties. What gives them two stars is the fact the host seating customers acted as if we were not welcome and over a two hour wait was unable to seat everyone in our party. Only 10 of 16 were able to eat at which point we ordered food to go. Additionally , since we were waiting we asked to order some bread sticks and this same guy seating guests was WORRIED WE WOULD MAKE A MESS on the streets of the FRENCH QUARTER!
